It is the winery most classic interpretation of the centuries old Rosso Conero. A classic of the territory, with a complex yet structured bouquet and palate, fruity hints of black cherry and raspberry. Notte matures in the cellar for eighteen months in French oak barrels and at least three months in the bottle. Notte can be paired with roasted pork and lamb alongside a steaming plate of tagliatelle with meat sauce.

Moroder winery is in Marche region of central Italy, in Conero mountain natural park. The winery is an 18th century old farmhouse which has been carefully restored. Moroder family started agriculture and wine business in 1837. The estate vineyards cover some of the hills around Monte Conero. The terroir is made of fresh breeze coming from nearby Adriatic Sea, as well as rich calcareous soil.

The whole history of Rosso Conero in a bottle. This is how Dorico presents itself. The scent bursts with a controlled explosion of ripe black cherries, ethers and spices, good alcohol and perfect tannins. Impossible to forget. Dorico is born only in excellent years from our oldest Montepulciano vineyard. The grapes are selected and harvested by hand at the end of the harvest. Then it rests for a long time on the yeasts in ancient barriques and tonneaux, protected by the vaults of the eighteenth-century cave and by the care of the winemakers. It is the ideal companion for roasts, stews, game sauces and all characterful, long-matured cheeses. Serve it between +18°C and +20°C in a Bordeaux glass.

What is more carefree than picking sour cherries in spring with friends to reach that branch a little higher up. Moroder ferment the sour cherries from their own farm, then pit them and add them to the wine. Once filtered, all that remains is to let the wine work its magic. A tale of juicy sour cherries and Montepulciano grapes, enveloping and delicious, an exquisite companion to dark chocolate. Serve it between +10°C and +12°C in a small tulip glass with dark chocolate.
