杏桃仁為杏桃的種子(果仁)，可以食用或入藥(甜杏食用，苦杏入藥)。甜杏桃仁外型左右對稱(與堅果杏仁相似)，外皮淡棕色至暗棕色，味微甜。苦杏仁呈心臟形略扁，左右不對稱。我們的是甜杏仁。
